The Siemens Stiftung's “Media Portal for STEM teaching” offers teachers and students free, quality-tested teaching materials for science and technology subjects. The approximately 3,500 multimedia resources on energy, the environment and health are available as Open Educational Resources (OER) and can therefore be edited, shared and distributed. They promote value-based teaching as well as inquiry-based, inclusive and cooperative learning. The materials are available in German and English for all ages and school types. Spanish media are available on CREA (Centro de Recursos Educativos Abiertos), the education portal for Latin America. The Siemens Stiftung's STEM training courses are also anchored on the media portal - in blended learning format or as web-based training.
