The central aim of the project “Community for OER knowledge transfer: Network of educational stakeholders” (Co-WOERK) is to establish a cross-state OER community for the fields of higher education and vocational education and training. To this end, the project addresses the systematic expansion of OER skills and OER awareness among teachers at universities and in vocational education and training by bringing together OER stakeholders in Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in a moderated working group and through targeted further training. In this way, existing regional OER networks are to be strengthened and new networks integrated. In the course of the project, the network is to be extended to the whole of Germany in order to exchange experiences.
In order to achieve this goal, the existing communities and their organizations will be strengthened, networking will be carried out, the organizations will be expanded and new actors will be recruited for the community. This process will be promoted through the development of an OER ecosystem consisting of support and advisory services as well as an incentive system and assistance with quality assurance and development.
