As the state agency for innovation in media and creative industries, MFG has been working to strengthen Baden-Württemberg as a location for media and the creative industries since 1995. It boosts innovation and competitiveness in Baden-Württemberg by promoting regional, national and international cooperation.
Supporting successful entrepreneurship is central to these activities, particularly in small and medium-sized companies, as is linking business with application-based research and public funding programmes.
MFG Public Innovation Agency is part of MFG Medien- und Filmgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg. Further divisions are MFG Film Funding and MFG Foundation. Proprietors of MFG Baden-Württemberg mbH are the State of Baden-Württemberg and SWR Media Services GmbH.
