In the Performance Agreement 2019-2021 with the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, the University of Medicine has committed itself in Project No. 28 "Open Education Resources" to an "Analysis of Open Education Resources Options for MedUni Vienna and Further Improvement of Teaching and Learning Services". For the years 2019 to 2021, it states more precisely "Further improvement of access to teaching and learning material in the sense of Open Educational Resources": e-books (textbooks), bibliographic databases and journals (e-only) (1) on campus and (2) off campus via remote access. Check for possible participation in national and international Open Educational Resources projects; if necessary, get involved in them" (p. 43).
