The symposium is organized and hostet by the inter-university Initiative for New Media Graz (iUNIg). Representatives of the four Graz universities (Karl-Franzens-University, University of Technology, Medical University and University of Arts), the Pedagogic University Steiermark and the Joanneum College, that is specialized on new media, contribute to the initiative.
Main emphasis at the symposium was free access to open educational resources. The symposium potters at opportunities OER might offer to usage in courses, extra-occupational studies and in the true sense of a learning society.
