HOOU stands for Hamburg Open Online University and is an initiative of Hamburg's universities, the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, and the Multimedia Kontor Hamburg. At HOOU, we believe that education must be accessible to everyone. That’s why we founded this platform. Our offerings are designed to be open to all – regardless of background, educational history, or life phase. They are OER, meaning anyone can use them, apply their content, and further develop them. On our platform, you will find learning resources and podcasts on a wide range of topics, available at any time. Our initiative is complemented by events – because education thrives through shared learning.
