The guideline for “strengthening, expanding and networking OER communities” (OE_COM) is the first measure to implement the OER strategy. The focus is on promoting OER communities (so-called communities) in order to anchor knowledge and skills more broadly in the educational landscape and to use synergies more effectively. The concrete goals of the announcement are the inherent strengthening and professionalization of existing communities and their organizations, the expansion and networking within the framework of appropriate networking work and the promotion of new communities.
