Our institute acts in the context of the public contract with the Land government of the Free State of Thuringia. Therewith the institute is responsible for qualified, theorie based and practic relevant further education of pedagogic personnel that is employed in state education institutions of Thuringia. Furthermore the institute develops central exams for teacher trainings.

The institute supports development of media comptences and the increasing entanglement of media and subject didactics by consulting in media pedagogic and media technological questions. Included are expension and maintenance of online offerings at thuringian schools and day care institutions.
