As one of the first universities of applied sciences, DHBW has adopted an Open Science Policy, making it one of the pioneers among universities that consistently promote Open Science. The DHBW Open Science Policy was developed by cross-campus project teams focusing on research data, Open Access, and Open Educational Resources. It was presented and discussed in the central committees. The Senate approved the policy on October 8, 2024.
