Teresa MacKinnon
Short biography
Teresa is an open practitioner, award winning language teacher and Certified Member of the Association for Learning Technology. She is experienced in technology enhanced learning design in language education and openly curates professional development resources for language tutors. She researches and designs to find solutions supporting student-centred pedagogy. A career long exponent of the importance of high quality language teaching in the UK, she campaigns for open access to language learning opportunities for all. Teresa is Chair of the Open Education Special Interest Group (Association for Learning Technology) , which advocates for open educational practices. The group’s mission is to support, develop, sustain and influence policy in open education.
