Since 2010 I am professor for architecture and technical building equipment at Fachhchschule Kufstein Tirol - University of Applied Sciences. In addition, I am Director of Studies for the study programs Energy & Sustainability Management as well as Facility Management & Real Estate Management (Bachelor & Master). In student teaching, I provide instruction in the use of academic communications such as academic podcasts, blogs, infographics, posters, and brochures. In architecture and building services, I focus on human-centered and resource-efficient design, construction, and operation and the use of renewable, recyclable, and renewable resources. In my private life I also try to live sustainability in everyday life and produce a lot of things myself.

For many years, my focus has been on enabling education without restriction, educational equity and lifelong learning. I therefore try to publish my own educational materials according to OER standards and in open Creative Commons license models. I also provide my students with the opportunities of an open exchange of knowledge and materials (sharing communities).
