The team at J&K - Jöran und Konsorten around Jöran Muuß-Merholz are connecting the educational and the digital world doing consulting, public speaking writing, editing, designing events and online projects. Since 2012 OER has been a focus of their work. They founded and operated “Transferstelle für OER“ which provided information on OER in Germany. J&K are also the founders and the organizers of the OERcamps, regular unconferences on OER, of the OER-Awards and the OER-Festival. Transferstelle OER served as a focus point to the emerging OER community in Germany, providing information on the subject. The OERcamps and OER-Festivals also helped connecting the community and widening the play field. The team at J&K is furthermore active in the production of OER in various sectors. J&K – Jöran und Konsorten is a company with eight permanent employees and a network of freelancers. Agency founded in 2009, started working on OER in 2012, delegated the “Transferstelle” to the newly founded OERinfo in November 2016. J&K are still operating the blog of OERinfo, organizing events and providing consulting and training on OER.
