"L3T's work" was an interdisciplinary working meeting - a think tank - of experts on future-oriented learning and teaching materials. Based on the ideas and experiences with the freely accessible textbook project "Learning and Teaching with Technologies" (http://l3t.eu), common visions for future teaching materials were to be developed in mutual exchange from 31.5 to 2.6.2012 in Bad Reichenhall. In addition to technological developments - mobile applications, e-books - developments with regard to freely accessible and freely usable teaching materials also play a central role. Linked to the change in technologies and distribution channels, the development processes, business models and teaching with teaching materials are also changing.
The event was conceived as a closed event in which a circle of experts of about 40 people had an intensive exchange. It was desired to bring in different perspectives and experiences, from the point of view of publishers, technology, teaching, pedagogy, production of teaching materials and other subject areas. The organisers specifically invited this.
The results of the event were recorded in a publication.
