In the Library of Open Educational Resources, you can search for and share open educational resources (OER) from all levels of education. The service and its OERs are available for use by teachers, learners and everyone else. The OERs in the library are mainly made by Finnish teachers and projects. We currently have OER in Swedish, English, Finnish, Russian, German, Somali and Farsi, with the majority of OERs in Finnish.
The Library of Open Educational Resources is being developed by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Finnish National Agency for Education, and its development is coordinated by CSC – IT Center for Science.
The OERs in the library are harvested to Finna.fi, which gathers materials from Finnish museums, libraries and archives under one roof. Through Finna-api the metadata of the OER can also be freely harvested to other services.
The service uses LRMI-metadata.
