The purpose of the Open Education Global Conference 2021 & 2022 is to support the implementation of the UNESCO OER Recommendation – from commitment to action. The 2021&2022 conference series brings the global open education community together to collectively work on advancing the implementation of the UNESCO OER Recommendation. The Conference is composed of:
Webinar Presentations Each online conference day starts with webinars, focused on the UNESCO OER Recommendation action area oft he day and programmed by language.
The webinar has up to five presentaions.
Pre-recorded Presentations Each webinar has its own area for posting webinar recording and engaging the global open education community in asynchonous Q&A, discussion, and sharing of related resouces.
Pre-recorded presentations are uploaded in advance of the conference and are available across all fice days of the conference. The progam for each day of the conference will highlight the pre-recorded presentaions related to the UNESCO OER Recommendation action area of the day.
Each pre-recorded presentation has ist own area for posting the recording and engaging the community in asynchonous Q&A, discussions, and sharing of related resources.
Social Activities Fun, informal social activities that provide a means for connecting people together, bridging culture, and helping participants get to know each other.
Bridging Activities With moving the In-person Congress portion oft he OEGlobal Conference to May 23-25, 2022 the programm planning committee will be exploring ideas for how to create continuity between the Online Conference and the In-person Congress.
