Tim Wiegers works as a research assistant at the Virtual Campus Rhineland-Palastinate (VCRP). After studying computer animation for film and games as well as applied media, he first worked on an animated movie for kids before changing his professional focus to the field of education by conceptualising a serious game for kids with adhd and sensory processing disorders in the course of completing his master's degree in media & education. At the VCRP he is involved in several projects including OER@RLP, which aims at informing and qualifying multipliers in the field of open educational resources in Rhineland-Palastinate. He also specialised in gamification and does research in the field of web accessibility particularly with with regard to e-Learning.
