Doctor in Philosophy and Educational Sciences from the University of Salamanca. Research Professor at the School of Humanities and Education of Tecnologico de Monterrey. She is director of the UNESCO Chair: "Open Educational Movement for Latin America", director of the office of the International Council for Open of Distance Education (ICDE): OER Latin America, principal investigator in the Red Strengthening Information Society Research Capacity Alliance and member of the National System of Researchers in Mexico. Her trajectory has been in the dynamization of initiatives for education, with innovation, research and global sense, as means of social transformation and impact for lifelong learning and sustainable development.
