The Portal of Open Courses - PoCA is a platform of distance learning courses, open and free of charge, available in Moodle, whose activities are part of the extension program of the same name, of the Secretariat of Distance Education. The courses available at PoCA offer an opportunity for professional development in different areas of knowledge, in addition to those focused primarily on the promotion of innovations in teaching and learning processes. The courses are: massive, because they can be taken by a very large number of people, free, online and at a distance, since there is no provision for face-to-face classes, and open, because anyone, in Brazil or the world, can participate.
