The free, eight-week on-line course free on-line learning supports interested ones with the entrance into self-organized learning with free offers in the Internet. The course was offered on the platform imoox.at, all materials including a printed workbook are openly licensed (CC BY), more than 1,100 have participated in the first course in autumn '14 alone.
The organizers of the first implementation were awarded the Austrian State Prize for Adult Education in the category "Digital Literacy" in 2015.
The course was developed and implemented by four core partners (BIMS e.V., Graz University of Technology, Salzburg Research Forschungsgesellschaft, Association of Austrian Adult Education Centers). The course was repeated in the fall of 2015, and was revised and conducted several times in cooperation with LISUM, among others.
