I am a PhD candidate in Educational Policy, Planning, and Leadership with an emphasis in Open Education. My doctoral research engages with theoretical foundations for open education, policy analysis, and trans-disciplinary sharing of open practice. I have also been working with the Virginia Dept. of Education over the last year in developing their OER adoption program, GoOpenVA. I'm most interested in how open education can sustainably transform our educational institutions into more democratic and equitable forms.
