The project depicted how lecturers can use and create openly licensed materials - open educational resources (OER). In order to achieve the project goals, openUP pursued the 'train the trainer approach': In 20 workshops we primarily informed e-learning-teams at universities about OER. Furthermore, we qualified these 'trainers' for holding their own OER-seminars for their faculty. In our 'Service-Netzwerk OER' ('service-network OER') we provide further information for everyone who is interested in using and creating openly licensed materials (https://openup-oer.de/goto_openup_grp_200.html). Here one can find information on definitions of OER and on how to find open files (e.g. images, texts, videos,?) on the internet. If you are planning to hold your own OER-seminar our network supports you: Three different concepts for OER-seminars define target groups and learning objectives. You can also download matching material (handouts and presentations) for your OER-seminar. It is openly licensed and you are free to use and adapt it for your purposes.
