The OERLe project aims to establish OER and OEP in the second stage of teacher education for the topic of sustainability. OER have already been presented at the first teacher education stage, this project responds to the necessity to use OER also beyond that. A networking and exchange of participating communities is focused between the first and second stage of teacher education. This in particular concerns teacher trainees and course managers in the state of North-Rhine Westphalia, Brandenburg and Saxony-Anhalt. The project builds on earlier projects which have been implemented in the first stage of teacher education - both stages will thereby be intertwined. Network analyses and needs assessments serve to assess the state of art and needs of the target groups, to deduce conditions and success factors for specific states but also nationwide and then adapt OER from the first stage. Each partner in this project will develop seven digital learning units collaboratively – actors and trainers working together. The units will subsequently be evaluated to implement materials in the second stage of teacher education according to needs and quality-assured criteria - besides the further developed OER, training of multipliers and the creation and distribution of guidelines for OER implementation and establishment of OEP will ensure a nationwide spread.
